Joseph Engle
TiNHiH LV Founder
Joe’s family moved to Las Vegas in 1978 when he was 11. He graduated from Western High School in 1985 and has worked at Safe Electronics as an IBEW Low Voltage Senior Technician since 2002. After losing his 19-year-old son Reese to a heroin overdose in 2011, Joe and other grieving parents founded the TiNHiH Foundation in 2013 to support families affected by opioid addiction. TiNHiH Las Vegas has since become a leader in recovery advocacy. With Board Members Donn Jersey and Jeffery Horn, Joe helped establish Clark County School District’s Mission High School, which opened in 2017.

TiNHiH Mission
We are dedicated to the wellbeing of teens, adults, and families by providing comprehensive mental health and substance use services.
TiNHiH Vision
We envision a future where mental health and substance use services are seamlessly integrated, accessible to all, and guided by lived experience.

TINHIH Las Vegas is involved in many events around the Las Vegas Valley, and are always in need of Volunteers. Follow us on Facebook to find out about upcoming events in Las Vegas. We want substance use including heroin to be a subject that can be talked about without the negative stigma that has been associated with it for far too long. Get in touch with us to learn more about how you can get involved in the cause.
