More access. More connection. More second chances. TiNHiH’s Youth Outpatient Services help teens build healthy coping skills, strengthen family relationships, and move forward—one supported step at a time.
Two levels of care to meet your teen where they are:
A structured, 12-week program designed for teens who need more support than weekly therapy alone.
Flexible, skills-based support for teens ready to work on goals with the family’s involvement.
Non-judgmental, goal-focused counseling that strengthens readiness to change
coping strategies, distress tolerance, and relapse-prevention tools that teens can use right away
Joint sessions to rebuild connection, set healthy boundaries, and improve communication
Positive group culture that normalizes help-seeking and creates sober support
Screening for anxiety, depression, sleep, and trauma with referrals as needed
One-to-one sessions that help teens explore choices, practice new skills, and set realistic weekly goals.
Coaching and joint sessions to strengthen trust, align expectations, and create a supportive home plan.
Immediate, short-term support for substance-related crises—with warm hand-offs to higher levels of care when needed.

MET is a brief, collaborative approach that helps youth discover their own reasons for change. Counselors use open questions and reflective listening to reduce ambivalence, build confidence, and translate insight into 7-day action plans. MET pairs well with IOP/OP and family sessions.
